The duration of the crossing is circa one hour with 50% of arrivals at Portoferraio. (Toremar also navigates to Rio Marina and Porto Azzuro).
The frequency of the departures depends on the period of the year, during the summer months, 36 crossing are effected per day from Piombino to Portoferraio. Bookings are always advised and are absolutely essential during the Easter period and on weekends throughout July and August.
