The Hotel Sardi has always been characterized by an excellent gastronomic service. The day begins with a delicious and rich breakfast buffet, where the guest may spoil the palate with exquisite homemade cakes, especially the homemade jam tartlets of Mrs. Odetta. Try our delicious homemade desserts and in the salty corner there are special homemade dishes for our gourmets.
On our buffet you will find various biscuits, rusks, homemade jams, honey and organic hazelnut cream, various breads, toaster, fruit juices, warm croissants, pancakes, eggs, cold meats, cheeses, even the gluten-free product corner is not missing, and for all those who is watching for their weight, there are fresh seasonal fruits and delicious fruit salads, cereals, whole grains, organic yoghurt and low-fat yoghurt. Hot drinks are express made at the bar and served at the tables.
The dinner is prepared by our Chef that knows the flavors that the Island gives us. The selection of local, fresh and high quality products will satisfy the most demanding palate. The Chef is inspired by the recipes of our grandparents, but always with a touch of innovation and modernity.
The dinner menu, which is served in the dining room, offers a wide variety of fish dishes (the undisputed protagonist), meat dishes or vegetarian dishes and is always accompanied by a rich buffet of appetizers, salads and seasonal vegetables. The dishes are presented with imagination and creativity.
Once a week, from mid-June to mid-September, we will surprise you with a themed evening, our typical Elba dinner. This is a very special occasion to try the most authentic recipes associated with the island tradition.
„Dulcis in Fundo“ – a sweet temptation for our sweet tooth must not be missed… Our desserts are all prepared by hand and with care. After dinner, treat yourself to a delicious Elban digestive drink, which you can enjoy on our terrace or in the sea-view lounge, surrounded only by the sound of the waves.
Carefully selected wines, especially wines from Elba from our Costa del Sole, are recommended by our Sommelier Stefano.
For vegetarians or people who can not tolerate gluten, milk or other foods, our kitchen offers the right alternative from breakfast to dinner. For our younger guests there is the possibility to prepare baby food and special menus on request of the parents according to your instructions.
For hikers or for those who do not want to miss a minute sunbathing, we prepare lunch packages.
Our restaurant „Fuor d‘Acqua“ is open every day, also for lunch, from 12.30 to 14.00. Here you will find our à la carte menu, where you will find delicious warm seafood dishes, land dishes and vegetarian dishes, including our main dishes based on fresh homemade pasta, where the chef refines local produce, combining traditional flavors with the most modern cooking techniques and enriches the dishes with aromatic herbs and local spices.
For those who prefer a light lunch, there are rich salads, sandwiches, our tuscan pizza breads and delicious cold dishes that you can enjoy in the garden while watching the colors of the sea… Enjoy your meal!!
